Terms of Service

By accessing and using RecipeStash ("Service", "Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use our Service.

These Terms of Service apply to all users of the Service, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.

RecipeStash is a web and mobile application platform that allows users to:

• Create, store, and organize personal recipe collections
• Share recipes with other users and the community
• Discover new recipes from other users
• Plan meals and generate grocery lists
• Access recipes across multiple devices

The Service is provided "as is" and RecipeStash reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Account Termination

RecipeStash reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

4.1 Content Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the content you submit, post, or display on or through the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant RecipeStash a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such User Content in connection with providing and promoting the Service.

4.2 Content Standards

You agree that your User Content will not:

• Contain any material that is defamatory, obscene, indecent, abusive, offensive, harassing, violent, hateful, inflammatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Promote sexually explicit or pornographic material, violence, or discrimination
• Infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property rights
• Violate the legal rights of others or contain any material that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability
• Promote any illegal activity, or advocate, promote, or assist any unlawful act
• Involve commercial activities or sales without our prior written consent

4.3 Content Monitoring

RecipeStash has no obligation to monitor User Content. However, we reserve the right to review, monitor, and remove User Content at our sole discretion, including content that violates these Terms of Service or that we find objectionable.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law
• Harass, threaten, demean, embarrass, or otherwise harm any other user
• Violate or encourage others to violate the rights of third parties, including intellectual property rights
• Post or transmit any content that contains software viruses or any other harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, user accounts, or computer systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
• Use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any software used to provide the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of RecipeStash and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the Philippines and foreign countries.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of RecipeStash. Nothing in these Terms of Service constitutes a transfer of any intellectual property rights from us to you.

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.

If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or contact us to request account deletion.

All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. RECIPESTASH MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE OPERATION OF THE SERVICE OR THE INFORMATION, CONTENT, OR MATERIALS INCLUDED THEREIN.

YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RECIPESTASH DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

RecipeStash does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. RecipeStash does not warrant that the results obtained from the use of the Service will be accurate or reliable.

Dietary and Health Disclaimer: RecipeStash is not responsible for the accuracy, safety, or health implications of recipes shared on the platform. Users with food allergies, dietary restrictions, or health conditions should consult appropriate professionals before following any recipe.

IN NO EVENT SHALL RECIPESTASH, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
• Any content obtained from the Service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.
